I'm not looking for any response or advice I'm just going to give my opinion on how to make the book better for the next edition.
1) The support section makes no sense. I've read it ten times and find it impossible to do, or it at least being helpful. You should just make a video of support and put it with the sound library. That would help a ton.
2) I have no idea what metal means. Is it twang, is it volume, etc? Maybe elaborate on that in the next edition.
3) Put a volume number next to the demonstrations in the sound library.
4) Describe what bite is/does....
5) Explain if neutral is head voice or just overdrive/edge in a really quiet volume.
6) Explain the difference between a 'hold', and having enough compression to keep from being breathy.
Thanks

I'm sure your input can be of use, but I'd say that most of your questions could be answered if you read more carefully.

See that is definitely in the book, overdrive and edge can not have quiet volume.

Head voice is not related to a certain mode or sound.

I am with you though, "metal" is quite vague Confused

I'm speaking in SLS language so there is probably a misunderstanding and the only way to clear it up is if you downloaded the Jesse Nimitz seven secrets workout (I think it would benefit your understanding of how to talk to certain others about voice, and you might even learn something). It has head voice which sounds and has the same volume as neutral throughout your whole range. The more you do of that then the more light your overall voice gets. Then he has mouth resonance (only TA muscles activated) the more you do this then the thicker your voice gets and you start losing range, and pharyngeal resonance (makes your voice twangy no matter what mode your in). Then it all gets put together into one voice. It really has helped me accomplish what I want along with CVI. We don't need to discuss this though as this is not in the right forum.

Hey, I know what you mean S, but I'm just trying to keep it in cvt terms.

I know but for example the CVT term metal makes no sense, but when I see and hear mouth voice then it makes a lot more sense. (I'm pretty sure mouth voice is the same as metal)
Go here http://www.singingsuccess.com/vocal-tips and watch the second half of the cord closure video to learn what I mean by mouth voice

I think you repeatedly sound insecure! x) Relax man(or gal)!

Neutral = SLS head voice, but covers soft singing in the low to medium range too.

That's an analogy that makes perfect sense for me. Do you agree that the amount of SLS mouth voice is the same as the amount as CVI's metal. Like half metallic curbing would have a tiny amount of mouth voice, non metallic neutral would have no mouth voice, etc...
