Does Fatigue unintentionally lighten the voice

Postby Ty » Fri Dec 07, 2012 5:09 am

I was practicing curbing around the C2 area today, for bit longer than I should have, the first few notes were done with ease, but about 10 mins later my voice started to tire out and become flat, but crazy me still wanted more practice, and tried for another C2 which I hit; however, the sound color was far more light than my usual medium/slightly dramatic color.

I believe I was still raising the soft palate, as I always do, but I could be mistaken; however, I've noticed that when I practice in my lower range for a while, my tone lightens up, just wondering what causes it
